Even though I prefer homemade meals, sometimes we need to go out or stop at a restaurant for lunch or dinner. Now that my son is a toddler and eating regular foods, and since I am a Mom that likes specials and discounts (who doesn’t), I made a list of places that offer free kid’s meals.

Some of these restaurants have very healthy choices, and you know a healthy kids menu is a great value to all our moms and dads. That is why I am including the healthy options of some of these restaurants and the links so you can check out  the full menus and prices.

MONDAY

NORM’S

Noon – 10 PM

One FREE Jr. Entrée from the Kid’s Menu (guests 10 and under) with each Adult Entrée purchased.

Glass Sippy

This is a great restaurant, not just because the platters are always good sized portions, but for the healthy options in the kid’s Menu.

They have healthy side orders such as: fresh fruit, low fat cottage cheese, sliced cucumbers, sliced tomatoes, and also french fries, mashed potatoes and gravy, or rice pilaf.

Our favorite from the menu:

GRILLED BBQ ALL WHITE-MEAT CHICKEN BREAST: Sautéed golden brown and served with BBQ sauce. Served with one side order. (we order with no bbq sauce.)

Eating at Denny’s for breakfast on the weekend is an American tradition, but now with all-day breakfast and new items on the menu who doesn’t want to stop in the middle of the week.

Certainly you won’t think of pancakes as a healthy lunch or dinner. But they have other options, like spaghetti or  grilled chicken on a stick. And of course there are the  jr. cheese burgers or chicken  nuggets.

At Denny’s receive up to two free kid’s entrees from the kid’s menu per one adult entree purchase of $6.00 or more. One free entree per kid. Kids eat free days may vary by location.

Not bad for Sunday barbecue family Dinners. Plus Dickey’s always has free soft serve ice cream.. yummy yummy.

You can find the other discounts they have at Dickey’s by clicking on this link.

 Recommendations:

→Before you go to any of these places, check online or call to make sure they offer the kids eat free special. Some of the locations are franchises that don’t participate in the special and nothing is more of a bummer than  thinking you will get the special, only to have them say they do not participate. It is even worse if you have more than one child.

→You can do like we do, I get  the regular priced entrée and my husband orders the  promotional items. So we get a kids eat free deal with one meal and the other at a promotion price.

Take in consideration:

• These offers are valid for dine-in meals with the purchase of an adult entrée. Some of the free entrées are for kids 10 and under, from the kids menu.

• Deals will only be available for a limited time at participating locations.

• Drinks could be not included unless otherwise specified.

• These deals are not valid with any other discounts or coupons. No cash value. Tax and tip not included. No substitutions.
